Gastronomy, craftwork, traditional dresses, and souvenirs from the country’s different regions, were exhibited in the framework of the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering’s cultural week.
By commemorating the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering’s (Spanish acronym FIME) 62nd anniversary, members of the students associations shared with the students the products, food, and representative places of their state of origin.
At the school’s parking lot, the different modules — in which the different dishes such as carne asada tacos, tamales, fried plantain, “discada” and seafood soup were offered — were installed.
The students also had the chance of acquiring necklaces, bracelets, non-alcohol beverages, and even renting videos. And music could not be absent, for as part of the celebrations that took place because of the “FIME Canta,” where several music groups participated with pop, rock, and even regional songs, which led people to dancing.
Also, students associations from Sinaloa, Sonora, Baja California, Chiapas, Tamaulipas, Nuevo Laredo, Monclova, and several Nuevo Leon’s municipalities.
